New Wells Rec working group meets for first time
The first meeting of the new Wells Recreation Ground working group has taken place, with the group being allocated several key tasks. The working group has been set up to help the Wells Recreation Ground Trust (WRGT) revise its strategic plan, as suggested in the recent Options Appraisal. It will make recommendations to the trustees to ensure that the community has a say in how the Bishop’s Barn and recreation ground will be improved to become viable and self-sustaining for the future. Where will you ‘bee’ on 16 August?
Knoll Gardens is the place to ‘bee’ on 16 August when local specialist producers will join national experts for a whole day of bee-related events and activities. Local honey will be for sale from West Moors-based Beeline Honey and the East Dorset Bee Keeping Association. Gold and Black Candles will be showing their range of 100% beeswax candles with natural wicks, and a selection of bee-friendly flowering perennials will be available at discounted prices.
