Learners from Yeovil College have shown their film about the Westland World Helicopter Speed Record – Westland ONE – to a public audience for the first time. It was watched by former Westland staff and local business leaders at Yeovil College and received great praise. YEOVIL COLLEGE ATHLETES REPRESENT COUNTY
Two Yeovil College students have represented Somerset at the English Schools Athletics Association (ESAA) Championships at Gateshead International Stadium. Brett Harrison (17) of South Petherton (200m) and Jordan Davies (18) of Sherborne (shot putt and Senior Boys Captain) train with Yeovil College’s Athletics Academy and with their external clubs. They combine their training with a Level 3 Sports course and A Level programme at Yeovil College, respectively.
