A charity lunch in aid of the RBL and Care 4 Causalities (The local Rifles Regimental Charity) will take place at The Three Horseshoes Inn at Batcombe on 9th June. It will be a Sunday roast and pudding. The cost will be £15 per head ( £10 for under 10s). Through the generosity of the landlord, Kav, we will be able to recover £10 from each adult ticket for the two nominated charities above. Yeovil in Bloom promotional event to encourage neighbourhood floral growth
The Yeovil in Bloom Steering Group is holding a promotional event in the Quedam Shopping Centre on Saturday 6 April from 10pm until 2pm to encourage neighbourhood communities to sow seeds to promote floral and vegetable growth.An area in the raised bed next to BHS in Yeovil will be cleared and the shrubs will be replaced with wildflower and perennial mixes that not only look spectacular, but will feed butterflies.
