A grant from South Somerset District Council (SSDC) has helped with installation of efficient air conditioning at a community shop and café in Seavington. Seavington Community Shop and Services Association received a grant of £1,000 from SSDC’s Area North Committee towards the cost of their project to install a new system to improve air cooling and temperature regulation in the building. Postal voters in South Somerset are being reminded to return their ballot papers in order to ensure their vote counts in the upcoming General Election.
