This week at Yeovil Montacute parkrun there were 213 runners, of whom 11 were first timers and 16 recorded new Personal Bests. Neil Herridge was the last of the 11 first timers to finish and in doing so became the 3,000th runner to take part in Yeovil Montacute parkrun since we started in September 2013!! In the run, regular visitor Ben Fairhall of Redway Runners was first over the line – not in a course record this time, but his time of 17m 16 was a good one. Jason Scott of Crewkerne RC was second over the line in 18m 36 holding off fast finishing Stu Cobb who finished in 19m 27. Full story: Read more
51 personal bests this week at the Yeovil Montacute parkrun!
The heavy overnight rain made way for what must have been ideal running conditions – given the 51 runners who managed to run personal bests this week at the Yeovil Montacute parkrun! This week there were 170 runners, of whom 38 were first timers and representatives of 22 different athletics clubs took part – of whom the 18 members of Yeovil Town RRC were the most numerous.
