Check for Easter waste collection changes
Good Friday and Easter Monday will mean changes for recycling and rubbish collections, Somerset Waste Partnership (SWP) has announced. Collections due on Good Friday 3 April will take place on Saturday 4 April. Easter Monday on 6 April will move all services in that week to one day later, including Friday’s pick-up on Saturday 11 April. Full story: Read more
Join the Easter Eggstravaganza hunt at Ninesprings this half term
Join the South Somerset District Council Ranger team and find the Easter bunny to collect your prize this half term! On Tuesday 31 March South Somerset District Council is once again hosting its annual Easter Eggstravaganza hunt at Ninesprings, with the support of the Friends of Yeovil Country Park. There is no need to book, you just need to turn up between 10am – 2pm and collect a trail leaflet from the Friends of Yeovil Country Park stall which will be located opposite Ninesprings Café.
