Another Successful Blackmore Vale Lions Half Marathon

Sunday 5th February saw the 25th running of the Blackmore Vale Lions Half Marathon and raised around £4000 (final figures to be approved) to be shared between St Margaret’s Hospice, various organisations in Bishops Caundle, and the Blackmore Vale Lions Charity Trust Fund which supports a wide range of charitable causes in and around the Blackmore Vale. Blackmore Vale Lions present £1000 cheque for Milborne Port Pool

milborne-port-swimming-pool-presentation-nov-2016Blackmore Vale Lions President, Ian Simpson, presented a cheque for £1000 to Roz Barrett, the Chairman of the Milborne Port Community Swimming Pool Committee, on Tuesday 1st November 2016. Roz explained that the money would help to pay for some of the final costs incurred in putting up their new swimming pool enclosure. Full story: Read more
