A Level Textiles students at Strode College had some fantastic news recently, when they secured substantial funding from The Doris Southcott Bursary. Sue Green, Textiles teacher at Strode College, said: “I originally applied for £9000, so I was incredibly surprised and extremely grateful to be awarded £30,000! This will enable our students to achieve goals that may previously have been unfeasible due to costs.” Full story: Read more
Strode College held its annual student awards celebration in Strode Theatre last week (18 April), with 30 students who completed courses last year welcomed back to be honoured in front of friends, family and teachers. Full story: Read more
The Strode College Trampolining Squad continue their excellent record of achievements having attained some fantastic results recently in a number of tough competitions. The annual Somerset Colleges Trampolining Competition, which was hosted at Strode College, saw some brilliant outcomes, both for Strode’s individual and team trampolinists.
