Collegium Singers: The Grand Tour at Museum of Somerset

Somerset-based chamber choir The Collegium Singers will be performing their ‘Grand Tour’ concert at the Museum of Somerset on Saturday 22 October. The concert is a musical voyage through Europe’s leading capitals in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Yeovil in Bloom wins gold yet again at South West in Bloom competition!

Yeovil in Bloom has struck gold once again in the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) South West in Bloom competition. Representatives of the Yeovil in Bloom team were there to collect the gold award at the presentation which was held at the Somerset County Cricket Club in Taunton today. RARE SET OF BEATLES AUTOGRAPHS UP FOR SALE

A very collectable set of Beatles autographs are to be sold by Lawrences Auctioneers of Crewkerne. They were discovered by the RSPCA (Somerset) amongst a box of vinyl records upon a programme, c.1964, entitled ‘Life with the Beatles’, which includes information about the band members.
