‘Spirit of Somerset’ is the latest multi-disciplinary exhibition by Made in Glastonbury, a collective of seven artists, based in the Glastonbury area. Drawing together talents from the fields of photography, wood carving, furniture making, collage and painting, the exhibition room at the Bishop’s Palace will showcase highlights from this group of talented artists, combining to create an engaging body of work celebrating the skills and art of their home county of Somerset. Goldwork Courses at The Bishop’s Palace, Wells. 4th May – 25th May
Following the sell-out success of last year’s Goldwork day, for 2017, The Bishop’s Palace in Wells will be offering Goldwork Courses which will be run over four weeks and aimed at two levels of expertise. The courses will be run by Liz Tapper from the Art of the Needle. Full story: Read more
