A task force has been brought together in Yeovil to fight the mindless crimes that occur in the Town. Graffiti and other criminal damage has become a real issue for residents and visitors, encouraging South Somerset District Councillors, Tony Fife and Ian Martin, to set up a task force of the relevant services to deal with the culprits and clean up the area. 345 days and thousands of miles, teenager reaches India on incredible two-wheeled journey for St. Margaret’s Hospice Jude Kriwald left from St. Margaret’s Hospice in Yeovil on Saturday 16th June 2012 to begin an epic journey- by bike – to India to raise money for St. Margaret’s Hospice. People in South West England are putting their health at risk when cooking at home, a new survey has shown. 81% of those asked in the South West admitted to one or more habits that put them at risk of food poisoning, including 28% admitting they would eat food that has been dropped on the floor and 19% not washing their hands properly before preparing food.
