Anna’s one million pound challenge

Anna, the new Fundraising Manager at Secret World Wildlife Rescue, East Huntspill, is playing an important role in the charity’s £4.4 million Call of the Wild Appeal to build a new Animal Hospital and Education Centre and her mission is to raise £1 million next year just to keep the rescue centre going. Secret World wildlife charity holds anti-badger cull walk

About 100 people have joined a protest walk in opposition to the planned cull of badgers in West Somerset.

LONGLEAT ISSUES SOCKS APPEAL

They may not be the top of many people’s festive wish list but keepers at Longleat Safari & Adventure Park really want socks for Christmas. And staff at the Wiltshire attraction don’t even mind whether they’re odd or even single socks.
