Staff, members and customers at Oxley Sport Centre, Sherborne, travelled a total of 551 miles or 887km in a one-day challenge to raise money for Sport Relief. People took part by swimming, cycling or running and helped raise more than £250 for Sport Relief. YEOVIL’S UNIVERSITY LAUNCHES ANNIVERSARY ALUMNI
Later this month, the University Centre Yeovil will be launching its own Alumni as part of tenth anniversary celebrations. Since it opened in April 2004, more than 3000 people have graduated from the University Centre, boosting their career opportunities with Honours and Master’s degrees, HNC/Ds and many other professional and Higher Education qualifications. TWIN JOY FOR RESCUED RING TAILED LEMUR
A rescued ring tailed lemur has given birth to twins at Longleat Safari & Adventure Park. The twins, who were born last week, are making the most of the mild spring weather as they enjoy a spot of sunbathing with mum Hasina.
