Somerset Tourism Literature Exchange

SSDCOver 40 tourist attractions will gather at South Somerset District Council’s free tourism literature exchange on Tuesday 17 March. The event which is hosted by SSDC’s Economic Development Team will take place at Haynes International Motor Museum between 10am and 12:30pm. If you run a pub, café, restaurant, accommodation or Tourist Information service, come along to the Literature Exchange and collect supplies of tourist attraction leaflets to give to your visitors. Two new classes set to keep South Somerset residents active

IMG_0923Thanks to funding from Active South Somerset, two new classes in Milborne Port and South Petherton have been set up to keep South Somerset residents active. The Active South Somerset programme is aimed at improving opportunities for activities in the South Somerset District. Active Somerset helps with funding during a 12 week pilot session of the class. In Milborne Port Village Hall, a new Core & Flexibility class has started every Monday from 5.30pm – 6.30pm. Full story: Read more
