The Museum of Somerset elves are putting the finishing touches to Santa’s Grotto ready for families to visit in the run up to Christmas. Santa’s Grotto will be open on Saturday 5, 12 and 19 December between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm. Due to its popularity families are encouraged to book their time slot in advance. Whilst visiting Santa, families can also enjoy the Elf Trail which takes visitors on a quiz trail around the museum in search of cuddly elves. Full story: Read more
Residents of South Somerset are invited to join the Countryside Rangers this coming weekend and plant a tree at Ham Hill Country Park for Christmas. The Ranger team at South Somerset District Council’s Ham Hill Country Park recently received a free tree pack from the Woodland Trust to plant in Pit Wood, which form part of the Country Park site.
