Coca-Cola truck gives Yeovil town a busy day of trading

CC Visit 2The iconic Coca-Cola lorry rolled into Yeovil town on Saturday morning causing a buzz before the event even began. People began to gather around 10.30am to await the start of the event at 12.00pm. Visitors to the event were able to have a professional photographer take a picture right next to the truck that could be accessed on line for free. Visitors could also sample some sugar free Coca-Cola, listen to an amazing choir singing everyone’s favourite festive tunes and get close up and personal to the truck itself. Full story: Read more

Local Ladies Have Floral Festive Fun!

Local ladies with their festive floral designsA festive feel was definitely in the air at Combe St Nicholas Village Hall near Chard recently when local ladies had great fun learning how to make their Christmas floral designs. Watching a step-by-step demonstration first, they were shown an abundance of ideas they could use. Some of the ladies attending had no experience at all. WILL YOUNG ANNOUNCED AS SOMERSET ROCKS’ SECOND ARTIST

Will Young 1Will Young has announced today (1 December) that he will perform a one-off show in Taunton in August and is the second artist to be announced as part of the Somerset Rocks line-up. Will Young will take to the outdoor stage on Saturday 27 August 2016, the second evening of Somerset Rocks, the three-night music event being held in Taunton’s Vivary Park during the August bank holiday weekend (26 – 28 August 2016).
