Well known broadcaster officially announced as host for Somerset Business Awards 2013

Renowned Heart FM broadcaster and local icon, Cormac MacMahon has been officially announced as the host for thimage002is year’s Somerset Business Awards.

Cormac will bring kudos and humour to the Awards, which is now in its ninth year. Commenting on his role for the Awards evening, Cormac says, “I am delighted to be hosting the Somerset Business Awards for 2013. It is an enormous privilege to play a part in recognising and celebrating the outstanding achievements of companies, big and small, from across the county. With businesses having to work even harder to succeed in the current economic climate, the Awards are a great way to reward and raise a glass to all those who contribute to the prosperity of Somerset.”

image001Growing in popularity each year, the Somerset Business Awards attract entries from all shapes and sizes of businesses from across Somerset. This year, the glittering black tie Awards ceremony will be held at a new venue, the newly refurbished Westland Conference and Leisure Complex in Yeovil on Thursday 24 October, to accommodate the rising number of entries and sponsors.

The Somerset Business Awards annually recognise business success, adding credibility and recognition for all businesses involved. One of the most important and popular dates in the Somerset business diary, many Somerset Business Award winners go on to do bigger and better things following the success of winning an award.
