With the deadline to register to vote in the forthcoming parliamentary and local elections fast approaching, Mendip District Council is encouraging local residents to go online and register as soon as possible.
The deadline to register to vote is Monday 20th April.
On May 7th voters go to the polls to elect MPs for the Wells and Somerton and Frome constituencies. District council and parish/town council elections are also taking place on the same day.
