Wells Tennis Club is getting ready to host its annual open day on Saturday 22nd April. All five courts and two mini courts will be packed with free tennis-related activities from 9.30am until 2.00pm. As well as a chance to try tennis with a coach there will be crafts for children, hook the ball competitions, refreshments and discounted memberships on offer. ‘Spirit of Somerset’ is the latest multi-disciplinary exhibition by Made in Glastonbury, a collective of seven artists, based in the Glastonbury area. Drawing together talents from the fields of photography, wood carving, furniture making, collage and painting, the exhibition room at the Bishop’s Palace will showcase highlights from this group of talented artists, combining to create an engaging body of work celebrating the skills and art of their home county of Somerset.
