Richard Herring, Angelos Epithemiou, Barry from Watford and more join Somerset’s weekend-long comedy fest, plus more chances to catch Stewart Lee, Sara Pascoe and James Acaster. Free tennis for all at Wells Open Day: Saturday 22nd April

Wells Tennis Club

Wells Tennis Club is getting ready to host its annual open day on Saturday 22nd April. All five courts and two mini courts will be packed with free tennis-related activities from 9.30am until 2.00pm. As well as a chance to try tennis with a coach there will be crafts for children, hook the ball competitions, refreshments and discounted memberships on offer.  Rackets and balls can be provided on the day. ‘Spirit of Somerset’ Exhibition at The Bishop’s Palace 1st April – 25th June

‘Spirit of Somerset’ is the latest multi-disciplinary exhibition by Made in Glastonbury, a collective of seven artists, based in the Glastonbury area. Drawing together talents from the fields of photography, wood carving, furniture making, collage and painting, the exhibition room at the Bishop’s Palace will showcase highlights from this group of talented artists, combining to create an engaging body of work celebrating the skills and art of their home county of Somerset.
