Hansons hosts ‘Project Poppy’ in aid of The Royal British Legion
Hansons Fabrics & Crafts in Sturminster Newton, Dorset, are hosting a creative and craft-filled 2-day charity event on Friday 4th & Saturday 5th November. Raising money for The Royal British Legion during their Poppy Appeal and in the lead up to Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday, Hansons will be transformed into a hive of creativity as customers knit, crochet, felt, sew and stick their very own hand-crafted poppies to either take away or add to the shop’s display. Somerset based Pop-Folk songstress Theya is a self taught pianist who, at the young age of 18, has already performed at the 100 Club (London), The Millennium Centre (Cardiff) and Party in the Park (Somerset). Theya’s style is reminiscent of Lucy Rose and Birdy.
