A group of ladies from Tatworth WI has enthusiastically embraced a range of new sports including new age kurling and boccia thanks to South Somerset District Council’s Sport50 initiative. Sport50 offers anyone over the age of 50 the opportunity to try a wide range of adapted sports which can include badminton, short tennis, walking rounders, croquet and basketball. Fairmead School choir a Christmas number one hit at council offices
Fairmead School choir from Yeovil proved they were a Christmas number one hit when they entertained staff and visitors today at South Somerset District Council’s Brympton Way offices. The choir sang a variety of Christmas songs for 45 minutes in the main reception and were joined by staff from the district council who listened to them during their performance.
