Somerset Animal Sanctuary Prepares to Open New Charity Shop
The official opening of Ferne Animal Sanctuary’s new Charity shop in Bow Street, Langport, Somerset will take place on Saturday, 4thApril 2015. Chairman of Langport Town Council, Julia Gadd, will be cutting the ribbon at 10am. Running the new shop will be two local ladies, Sarah Judd (Manager) from Curry Rivel and Debbie Line (Assistant Manager) from Langport. Full story: Read more
Check for Easter waste collection changes
Good Friday and Easter Monday will mean changes for recycling and rubbish collections, Somerset Waste Partnership (SWP) has announced. Collections due on Good Friday 3 April will take place on Saturday 4 April. Easter Monday on 6 April will move all services in that week to one day later, including Friday’s pick-up on Saturday 11 April. Full story: Read more
