There was another good turn out this week at the Yeovil Montacute parkrun, where there were 164 runners (it did look like more!), of whom 20 were first timers and 24 recorded new Personal Bests. Before starting there was a presentation to Scarlett Sayfritz for getting the Sweatshop parkrunner of the month award for January – her new pair of shoes didn’t quite carry her to a new PB this week! Yellow Montacute Park for weekly Saturday run
Arriving at Montacute House for the weekly parkrun on Saturday, the sun was shining and the whole of Montacute Park seemed yellow, filled with buttercups and high-vis jackets. Jason Scott kept up a 100% record as he crossed the line first in a time of 19m23 – his third first placed finish in three appearances.
