South Somerset District Council has opened a consultation with Council Tax payers and other interested parties on possible changes to its Local Council Tax Support Scheme for 2016/17. The consultation opened on Wednesday 15 July and will close on Wednesday 9 September 2015. Council Tax Support, which replaced Council Tax Benefit in April 2013, is a local discount scheme to help people on a low income pay their Council Tax.
