BBC: Dolly Parton offers to adopt abandoned Glastonbury dog

Country singer Dolly Parton has promised that she will adopt a dog that was abandoned at Glastonbury, if the owner is not found. Dolly the dog, named in honour of the star, was found in a tent during the clean-up of the festival in Somerset. The white Lurcher has been housed at the Happy Landings animal shelter, which is near the Worthy Farm site. Full Details: Read more
