The English Country Garden Festival will be a celebration of the horticultural heritage held within the plantsman’s paradise of the Bishop’s Palace and its 14-acres of stunning gardens. New Palace Pastor to provide prayers for Palace visitors and staff
The Revd. Anne Roberts has been appointed to the newly formed role of Palace Pastor. Based at the Bishop’s Palace, Anne will offer pastoral and spiritual care to visitors, volunteers and staff. She will move from Cumbria to take up the post. She will be joined by her husband, the Venerable Kevin Roberts, Archdeacon of Carlisle, who has been appointed to the role of Director of ReSource, a Wells-based charity working to support the growth of the Church nationally.
