Flying by the seat of their pants – ‘Brunel Flyer’ replaces ‘Bath 100’ with new route

brunelflyer1Children’s charity Action Medical Research has been offering cyclists an extensive program of one day bike rides in fantastic cycling locations up and down the country since the very first ‘100’ cycle event that Action ran more than 30 years ago. Now the traditional Bath 100 event has been refreshed and revamped for 2015 with both a new name (the Brunel Flyer) and a new route that takes in some of the best scenery on offer in the West Country. Charity seeks riders for Brunel Flyer cycle challenge

logoThe Brunel Flyer Cycle Challenge will take place this spring and children’s charity Action Medical Research is calling for riders to sign up now for the event on Sunday 10 May. There is a choice of Cool (40 miles,) Classic (61 miles) and Champion (100 miles) routes setting out from the Wellsway Sports Centre, Chandag road in Keynsham. The routes take in the stunning scenery surrounding Bath including, the Chew Valley, Cheddar, White Horse at Westbury, and Longleat Estate. Full story: Read more
