Green Down Nature Reserve gets £500 reward

Somerset Wildlife Trust’s Green Down Nature Reserve, near Somerton, supports one of the largest populations of the Large Blue butterfly in Europe.  That is why Wessex Water’s Senior Ecologist Mark Doughty will be visiting the Reserve with a £500 Wessex Watermark Award on Wednesday 12th October. DIAMONDS STILL RING ALL THE RIGHT BELLS AT AUCTION

1087Lawrences’ Spring auction of jewellery in Crewkerne comprised over 400 lots and there were plenty of bidders on the telephones, in the room and online to ensure that the event went well. A mixed lot of jewellery included brooches, clasps, bracelets and rings and made £3170 to get the sale off to a flying start.
