A Level Textiles students at Strode College had some fantastic news recently, when they secured substantial funding from The Doris Southcott Bursary. Sue Green, Textiles teacher at Strode College, said: “I originally applied for £9000, so I was incredibly surprised and extremely grateful to be awarded £30,000! This will enable our students to achieve goals that may previously have been unfeasible due to costs.” Full story: Read more
On their exhibit (PW250) at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show Redwood Stone, from Wells in Somerset, celebrate their 25th Anniversary of staging a trade exhibit at the world’s most prestigious flower show. Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton will once again receive tremendous support from the French Navy at this year’s International Air Day on Saturday 8 July.
