Somerset Wildlife Trust is excited to invite you to Taunton Wildlife Week, part of its urban wildlife project, Routes to the River Tone. Come and enjoy a week of fantastic wildlife events around Taunton Town – which are all free! On Saturday 17th June, Taunton Wildlife Week kick starts with our attendance at Somerfest, and from there we have a whole host of events for all the family – from fishing and wild art to a River Safari and wildlife photography there will be loads to choose from. Come along to this evening hands-on workshop at The Subhouse, Wells and learn how to arrange a selection of flowers into a wonderful, wild and natural styled hand tied arrangement. This would look beautiful in a vase on your kitchen table or wrapped as a gift bouquet for a friend. With gorgeous flowers sourced from the Best of the West flower growers, greenery and berries foraged from hedgerows, you are sure to take home a stunning arrangement. You will learn some simple easy-to-master techniques and get lots of tips about choosing, preparing and looking after your flowers to keep them fresh for longer. All equipment and materials provided.
