The Somerset Chamber of Commerce’s annual business conference will be held on Thursday 4th June at Junction 24, Bridgwater.
About the conference
The 2015 conference is all about Somerset and the great products that are Made in Somerset, those hidden gems – brands and products – that everybody is familiar with, but unaware that they come from right here in Somerset.
This year’s conference will consist of an interactive business exhibition with over 30 exhibition stands including the the AMRC’s MANTRA lorry, business conference and lots of networking opportunities. With over 250 delegates it is an opportunity not to be missed.
The conference will be facilitated by Dr Adam Marshall, Executive Director of Policy & External Affairs at The British Chambers of Commerce. Neil Murphy, the Chamber’s new Chief Executive will welcome an impressive line-up of speakers from AgustaWestland, South West Manufacturing Service, Numatic, Thales UK, Fox Brothers, Alstom, The Ministry of Cake, Pittards, Elecsis, Harry’s Cider, the Chartered Institute of Marketing and GAIN.
Registration is from 09.00 and the conference will comprise of 3 sessions covering Somerset quality brands, advanced engineering and manufacturing along with fashion, food and funding. The first two sessions will take place in the morning and the Somerset Business Awards will be launched immediately before lunch. On the day, delegates will be able to book one-to-one appointments with key organisations which will follow the last session and proceedings will finish at 16.00.
