This summer, The Bishop’s Palace is delighted to welcome back the Chapterhouse Theatre Company to proudly present The Railway Children, the unforgettable and heart-warming story of adventure and family set in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside.
The lives of three children are changed forever by the mysterious disappearance of their father. Finding a new home in a beautiful but isolated village the children make new friends and discover the wonders of the Yorkshire hills and the railway lines scattered throughout them.
Chapterhouse presented a fantastic evening of entertainment last year at the Palace when they performed The Secret Garden.
Doors open at 6pm for a 6:30pm start. Visitors can bring low-backed seating or picnic blankets and are welcome to bring their own food and drinks, or to take advantage of the BBQ and bar on site.
