Children across Somerset are set to become experts on the “burping bacteria” that will soon be turning their waste food into clean, green power. BBC News – Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis in ‘drink less’ call
Glastonbury Festival organiser Michael Eavis says he would prefer music fans to “drink much less” at the event. Festival-goers have been known to take wheelbarrows and trolleys of alcohol on to the site at Worthy Farm in Somerset. Mendip Dance Club Annual Picnic and Al Fresco dancing, Tuesday 25th June
Mendip Dance Club will hold its annual picnic and al fresco dancing on Tuesday 25 June which means there will be no Chilcompton class. Tickets have been booked for another annual club event, the Rambert’s visit to Bath, with a chance to watch the company at daily class prior to the performance . Meanwhile, weekly sessions continue throughout the summer in various styles from Laban to Street Dance to Jazz / Contemporary. If you’d like to dance with us, come along and try.
