Some unusually good pieces of collectable ‘Mouseman’ furniture are to be sold by Lawrences Auctioneers of Crewkerne. The celebrated workshop, started by Robert Thompson in Kilburn, Yorkshire, has produced hand crafted furniture from the 1920’s until the present day. They are best known for the distinctive carved ‘Mouse’ signature that is found on every piece. Full story: Read more
Women and girls in the Langport area are set to benefit from a new three year physical activity project when Back to Netball launches at Huish Leisure on Wednesday 15th June. Back to Netball is being offered as part of the ‘In It Together’ project which has been set up to offer a wide range of sporting activities for women and girls in the right place and time.
