New Homes Bonus grants announced

Cabinet last night announced that £250,000 will be released by Mendip District Council and made available for local communities. The quarter of a million pounds is part of the New Homes Bonus grant from central government which the council has chosen to use to support legacy projects throughout the district. Delays to speed measures on Moor Lane in Wincanton ‘due to weather’ | This is Somerset

Shepton Mallet Prison one of six old jails to be closed | This is Somerset
