Curry Rivel village hall gets upgrade to facilities after grant
Curry Rivel village hall boasts a new heating system, cooker and insulation thanks to the efforts of local volunteers and a little help from South Somerset District Council. As well as guidance and support from SSDC the project was awarded a grant of £4,500 by local councillors from the council’s community grants programme. The total cost of the project was £9,000. Polar explorer presents Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards
A spectacular evening at the Octagon Theatre (Yeovil) saw 135 young people receive Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards from adventurer and explorer Felicity Aston.
