The Mendip Hills Fund is a partnership between the Mendip Hills AONP Partnership and Somerset Community Foundation and was set up in 2014 to conserve and enhance the environment, communities and economy of the Mendip Hills.

Jocelyn Blacker, Programmes Manager at SCF says: “We are looking forward to working with the AONB Partnership once again this year, to provide support to local projects and community groups.

“The programme is particularly interested in projects that benefit communities and the environment of the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Beauty (AONB) and the area defined by the Mendip Hills National Character Area (NCA 141). If you would like more information or a friendly chat, please do get in touch.”

In previous years the fund has supported projects ranging from forest school activities to conservation volunteering for people living with mental ill health. For more information about the Mendip Hills Fund, or to apply for funding, visit: www.somersetcf.org.uk/mendip
