Entries for the 2018 Mendip Business Awards end at 12noon on Friday 23 March

It is the final few days that local business owners can enter their business into one of ten categories to be in with a chance of winning at the annual Mendip Business Awards.

The winners will be announced during the evening celebrations at the Royal Bath & West Showground on Thursday 31st May.

This year’s awards features ten categories open to local businesses, including New Business of the Year, Family Business of the Year, Taste of Mendip Award and new for 2018 Apprentice of the Year, among others.

Cllr Tom Killen, Deputy Leader of Mendip District Council who are one of the main sponsors of the awards, said “The 2017 Awards strongly demonstrated the wealth of local talent in our business community, and the judging panel was delighted with the quality of entries and winners last year.  We are particularly keen to hear from smaller businesses who often do not get the recognition which they deserve.  The Mendip awards are specifically aimed at supporting and showcasing excellence in local enterprise, and companies of all sizes and industries are encouraged to get involved.”
