‘Refuse rescue’ for flood villages

Somerset Waste Partnership.pngA waste removal operation for the marooned villages of Muchelney, Muchelney Ham and Thorney has been carried out today [Tuesday 21 January]. The task involved local people, Somerset Waste Partnership (SWP), Somerset County Council’s civil contingencies team, and the Somerset Rural Community Council’s village agent. Twitter, tractors and tillage equipment make AMES a one-stop show

For the first time ever, visitors will be able to test drive their choice of tractors at the Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet, with two major manufacturers supplying state-of-the-art equipment.
