Artisan Market’s success in the sun
The Artisan Market held at Browne’s Garden Centre on 12 April was another success for local artisans who came together to supply customers with fantastic food, gifts and crafts while they enjoyed the warm weather. New to the Artisan Market this Easter was Lisa Pool from Wish upon The Brightest Star who said “wishuponthebrighteststar was delighted with the interest in its map stationery; there were lots of comments, queries and local stories that were thrown up by customers with time to stop and chat about map features, changes and their own local knowledge. Local business woman and styling icon Leila Gregory has joined forces with Baroness Cathy Bakewell, to bring the style and sophistication of a London Vintage Market to our beautiful Somerset town. Baroness Bakewell, who is a member of the Yeovil Market Improvement group, was inspired by the vibrant and eclectic markets in Kensington and Covent Garden and therefore wanted to create a destination market with something for everyone in Yeovil.
