Michael Eavis will be helping Oxjam Glastonbury & Street 2014 come to the end of a rollercoaster ride of music, emotions and merriment. Over £600 has been raised so far and organisers are hoping to raise £1000 just from the generosity of the public in praise of the music on offer. All the gigs are free entry but organisers are asking for a donation to Oxfam, 100% of which goes straight to them, which they consider a small price to pay for the amazing music on offer. Scare and save this Halloween
With millions of pumpkins being sold in the days before All Hallows’ Eve, some great ways to save cash and have fun are being suggested by Somerset Waste Partnership (SWP). SWP is urging Halloween revellers to use every bit of the pumpkin and recycle anything left over, from making the traditional Jack O’Lantern to turning the flesh and seeds into tasty snacks.
