A charity hailed as the People’s Champion is launching an appeal for Christmas donations so that it can help everyone who turns to its experts for advice. South Somerset District Council welcomes popular local affordable housing scheme
A newly built affordable housing scheme for local people at Minchingtons Close in Norton-sub-Hamdon has been welcomed by South Somerset District Council. Over a number of years, South Somerset District Council, Yarlington Housing Group and the Parish Council have worked to help ensure that the village is not a place where only the minority can afford to live and bring up their families. Somerset Chamber announces interim CEO
Graham Knight has been appointed as part-time interim CEO of the Somerset Chamber of Commerce, ensuring it is ‘business as usual’ for the Chamber over the coming months. Graham Knight, who is the Chairman of the Somerset Chamber of Commerce, will fulfil the role of CEO until a new Chief Executive is appointed in the new year, bringing consistency and reassurance following the recent announcement that Rupert Cox will leave the Chamber at Christmas.
