Dorchester and Sherborne CAB launches Christmas appeal

CABA charity hailed as the People’s Champion is launching an appeal for Christmas donations so that it can help everyone who turns to its experts for advice. Daniel Cadisch, manager of Dorchester, Sherborne and Districts Citizens Advice Bureau, said: “This is the time of year when many people like to raise money for charity through events such as Christmas bazaars or by carol singing. South Somerset District Council welcomes popular local affordable housing scheme

South Somerset District Council.pngA newly built affordable housing scheme for local people at Minchingtons Close in Norton-sub-Hamdon has been welcomed by South Somerset District Council. Over a number of years, South Somerset District Council, Yarlington Housing Group and the Parish Council have worked to help ensure that the village is not a place where only the minority can afford to live and bring up their families. Somerset Chamber announces interim CEO
