The Royal Air Force will be out in force, contributing the Red Arrows, the Typhoon FGR4 and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight to the airshow’s five hour flying programme on Saturday 2 July. One of the world’s premier aerobatic teams, the RAF Red Arrows are now into their 53rd season. Mendip Council cracks down on fly-tippers

mendip district councilMendip District Council is cracking down on fly-tippers by focusing its efforts on a notorious hotspot in the district. Criminals regularly dump waste illegally around the Gypsy Lane, Berkley Lane and Dark Lane areas of Berkley, just outside Frome, causing an ugly blight on the countryside. Now the council is to renew its efforts to identify offenders and reduce the number of fly-tipping incidents in the Gypsy Lane/Dark Lane area.
