Budding young Banksys in Somerset are being invited to design a ninja villain character to be featured at the new Flip Out trampoline park, which is set to open at Chelston Business Park in Wellington next month. There are two categories in the design a villain competition; one for young people between the ages of 11-16 and a junior category, which is open to children between the ages of 4-10. With one of the world’s biggest parties set to take place in Mendip later this month, the council’s staff are preparing to do their bit to ensure the event passes off as safely as possible. This summer The Octagon Theatre will present an amateur production of an off-Broadway musical at the Swan Theatre, Yeovil, as a means of fundraising for The Foyer Club (registered charity 1155888). From Tuesday 25 to Saturday 29 July The Octagon will present their first full-scale musical production of, ‘I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change’, a much-loved comedy musical revue.
