Longleat’s infamous Halloween Spooktacular Festival is back and it’s bigger and badder than ever with a host of thrills and chills taking place over the October Half-Term Holidays (Saturday, October 19th – Monday, November 4th).
Listen to tales of terror and intrigue in the spooky surroundings of Longleat House and go in search of mysterious apparitions in the gloomy cellars, shadowy attics and chilling corridors as part of the frightfully popular Spooky House Tours.
Due to popular demand there will be even more of the daytime tours taking place throughout the festival. Plus, for the truly fearless, there are the all-new after dark Ghoulish Torchlight Tours from 7pm (October 19th, 25th & 26th, November 1st & 2nd).
Among the other grisly goings-on there will be the chance to hop on board the Ghost Train for a spine-tingling trip into the wild woods!
Witches have taken over the Great Hall and have been brewing up trouble with their horrible Halloween Shows. Also keep an eye out for other creepy costume characters on your way around the park!
Visitors can follow the giant Pumpkin Trail around the attractions and children can get crafty having a go at carving their very own jack ‘o’ lantern.
Longleat Safari & Adventure Park will also be staging a series of fabulous fireworks extravaganzas!
Fiendish Fireworks (October 25th–26th) features a spine-tingling display to accompany a specially compiled medley of ghoulish and hair-raising tunes. Plus there’s an equally spectacular adventure-themed display set to classic movie music to mark the official Bonfire Weekend on November 1st-2nd.
