FREE Business Support returns to Glastonbury

Red Brick BuildingFree information and advice will be on offer to local businesses on Tuesday 22 March from 9am – 2pm at The Red Brick Building in Glastonbury.

A similar event was held last year and was a big success with a great turn out.  This year’s event has been organised by the recently reformed Street Chamber of Commerce who were keen to offer advice and build relationships with new and existing local businesses.

The event comprises 15 business professionals offering advice on an informal drop-in basis covering a wide range of topics, such as web design, e-commerce, marketing, PR, branding, soft and hardware, finance, premises and maintenance.  A series of informative seminars will be running alongside the event including “How to attract more visitors to your website and increase sales” which is expected to be popular and booking is recommended.

Gail Chubb (Chair of the Street Chamber) said about the event “I am really looking forward to meeting and building relationships with our local business community.  We welcome established businesses looking to grow and start up businesses at any stage.  There is a wealth of knowledge, experience and contacts within the Street business community, and we are keen to work together to grow our economy and raise our profile.”

Local businesses are welcome to drop in at any time throughout the day; however we suggest booking – especially for the seminars – as there are some limits on capacity.  For more information visit:  http://gsbiz.eventbrite.co.uk, email [email protected].uk or call 01749 341345
