Somerset Rural Life Museum to Reopen for the Summer

Somerset Rural Life Museum will reopen on Saturday 3 June following completion of a £2.4 million redevelopment project led by the South West Heritage Trust. Women in South Somerset encouraged to get into the swing of tennis

With summer approaching local women are being offered the chance to sign up to brand new Beginners Tennis sessions across South Somerset. The sessions are being offered as part of the In It Together women’s participation programme which is funded by Sport England and delivered by South Somerset District Council. Full story: Read more

SSDC helps bring theatre into local communities

A small amount of funding from South Somerset District Council’s Arts Development Service has helped Wassail Theatre Company attract additional funding, largely from Arts Council England.
