Baltonsborough Parish Council are seeking the final piece of funding to complete the villages’ new Play Park.
The Parish Council have raised a staggering £60,000 so far from local and national grant funding, and the new Shape Mendip Lottery.
They want to install an exciting Zip Wire to complete the Play Park, and the Community Council for Somerset have created a crowdfunding campaign to help them reach the target of £2500.
Local children were asked what equipment they would like to see in their new park and the overwhelming response was a Zip Wire. Hours of fun and excitement for all ages who love a challenge!
It’s not only residents of the village who will benefit – parents will travel some distance from across the Mendip district to seek out a high-quality play park with parking.
