The Bishop’s Palace in Wells is to host a new art exhibition by artist Fiona McIntyre. The exhibition is entitled “The Tree Within” and will showcase a range of Fiona’s landscapes and treescapes reflecting the artist’s intimate connection with nature. “Her works have the earthy gravitas of the (early) Van Gogh” Peter Davies – writer and art critic. Festival of Archaeology in Somerset
The South West Heritage Trust will be holding three events as part of the 2016 Festival of Archaeology. Co-ordinated by the Council for British Archaeology, the festival offers hundreds of events nationwide, organised by museums, heritage organisations, universities, and local societies.
