Following an incredible summer of sport, budding young athletes will be following in the footsteps of their Olympic heroes when they run, jump and throw at Yeovil Athletics Arena for Aviva Startrack on Monday 8 April. Into Somerset reports record levels of investment into the county and unveils new marketing initiatives including a new business film in conjunction with media partner, the Daily Telegraph.The inward investment organisation announces it has created over 1000 jobs in the county since late 2009, which in salaries equates to an additional £28million for Somerset’s economy. Council Tax: Don’t be fooled by bogus tricksters
Council tax bills will soon be landing on doormats and South Somerset District Council has a warning for residents about tricksters who claim they can save them money for the cost of a fee. The district council is aware that a caller is stating they are from a company who for a fee could arrange to reduce their council tax for them.
